Bad news Now in depression on fans Honda cbr 1000r, rr series discontinued
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤thank u
Test rode the Guzzi V100 Mandello recently and loved it. Will try this R nine T soon.
Hi, thank you for the video👌🏻 This a little more refined than the previous version of this bike as a concept. But for the one who have the predecessor, in my opinion there is no enough evolution to trade for this R 12 nine T. In fact it’s a pity that BMW turned this model keyless. The suspension is a bit more forgiving and the seat is comfortable. The quick shifter is very good for a boxer engine bike, maybe better than any other bike equipped with the boxer engine. I’m not a fan of the mini digital screen but I know that it is an extra and that the traditional clocks are still available coming from stock equipping the bike, which I prefer to see on this model.
I also like the traditional clocks. I am amazed how BMW made the air cooled engine smoother than the previous versions.
Does the 70 series come with diff lockers?
Yes and No. The UK spec KZJ70 don’t have lockers but the you can get them with lockers outside of the UK.
in Australia the KZJ 71 and 74 have rear diff lock

great review thanks
MY FAVORITE CAR IN THE WORLD
Spring chicken! Lovely...a credit to the owner.
It was a great show, but less bikes than usual, be nice to see more next year.
Back in 2015, there were more varieties. Including a V8 trike. Here is the video of it. Ford Mustang V8 Trike ua-cam.com/video/oduxE3ZyvKI/v-deo.html
What a stupid engine configuration for a motorcycle considering it has to bank over when cornering
not stupid, it works. low cg, perfect primary balance, easy maintenance. keeps yer feet warm, too.
Thanks for the video, this is exactly what I want. They do look good 👍
Honda japan
Sounds like it took your breath away!!
Fantastic video with great insight into how the bike actually feels to ride!!
How far were you away from eachother
I was on a hill 811 feet high, the other station is nearly 20 miles away using a base station.
@@TheOutdoorFunOh wow nice!
@Abrahams_Bosom I also had a contact with a station 54 and 57 miles away. Both stations were on higher ground like myself on a hill.
That radio is one of the most sensitivity radios on the market
I'm sorry but you didn't mention how tall you are and what is your inseam. Could you please tell your height? I like the XR a lot but I'm a bit worried, I'd struggle with my height (174cm)
I am 168cm tall and I wear 30 inch leg jeans. You could go for the lower chassis option with standard seat or lower chassis option with low seat. Ask your local dealer for a test ride. Nice bike.
@@TheOutdoorFun I rode the gen 2 and it was ok...but on the facelifted version, just like you said, it is even higher. Don't want to lower the chassis though. Maybe a low seat would be perfect.
Quanto é essa moto ❓❓❓

🔝 demais as 1300 estão espetaculares
this is what i would like to know that the new seat is fitting the previous generation ? if so i am going to change my seat with the new one. :)
Not sure whether they have made any changes to the seat, worth checking with your local bmw dealer.
@@TheOutdoorFun it has not been arrived to Turkey yet. I am looking forward
I am supposed to be picking mine up from Moto Julia in New Orleans tomorrow!!
You will love it. Enjoy!!
How do you even get a test ride?. Last time I was looking at a BMW 1000RR in 2017 all I got asked by the salesman was how much am I spending.Walked straight out, rang my local HONDA dealer and test rode their Fireblade SP for over an hour.
I think it depends on the dealerships. I use Bahnstomers in Alton and they are good.
XR needs to be revved, then you’ll discover it’s a different league to a boxer.
Yes agree for top end power but for normal road use the new 1300 rules, instant power.
@@TheOutdoorFun XR has instant power when kept in an appropriate gear, tbh which bike is best it comes down to how you like to ride
Put it in Dynamic mode. It's a beast in the mode. Blew me away yesterday on my test ride. More power than I need. But Love the 50lb weight savings over my '21 R1250GS. The quick shifter on the XR is much smoother but I've been told it's because of the I4 and chain drive compared to my GS drive shaft and boxer twin torque. I actually like the power deliver and deeper seat feel of my GS, but XR weight was so nice n easy. Unfortunately a 15 min test ride with no twisties was not enough to make a decision to buy n replace mine. I'll test ride the GS 1300 next weekend.
@@awakeadventurer9198 Yes I know what you mean. I tried the dynamic mode too. 1300’s bottom down torque is lot nicer. I noticed the gap between the XR and GS is lot narrower compared to the 2016 models because the 1300gs is lighter and powerful now. Let me know what you think of the 1300 test ride.
@@awakeadventurer9198 really a test ride needs to be a minimum of two hours, when I test road an RR I rode 120 miles.
Nice looking bike. Would you swap your GSA for it?
I might because I don’t use my bike for commuting, nowadays we work from home most of the time. I don’t do many miles like before. But I like the boxer engine’s bottom end torque. The new 1300 has got lot of bottom end torque. The surprising thing is the gap between the 1300gs and the standard xr lot narrower than before. The new gs are so good, light and powerful. I am waiting for the new gs to arrive before i make any decisions. The m1000xr is a different bike but the seat height is a problem for me.
Good to hear. I did a demo on the 2nd gen XR and struggled to get on with the lack of bottom end and buzzing vibes compared to my GSA. Guess you have to ride it a different way. Will book a demo on the new one soon
Looks great in that color. Incredibly good bike.
Seen a lot of vids of these, i had one in 1980. I fitted a handle bar fairing. Haven't seen one yet with that.
Awesome bike!!!!
I have a 7 year old F3S Can-Am and trying to convince myself I NEED to spend double the money the F3S cost me to jump in to a Spyder RT Limited like this one. Almost there...
Impressive to receive with a conventional antenna. Could probably had been able to receive a longer time with a directional beam or yagi antenna, still very good.
Bora honda manda as motos pra rua para de ficar segurando
I saw someone who had a telescoping flag pole setup. And could pull it down in inclement weather if needed. Pretty neat
I had one same color, she is still in my heart after 52 years. I remember the feeling recurring regularly climbing on her.
I want to get one of these very badly
Beast
Rubber brake lines. Madness on a bike like this.
Rubber covered
@@williamskalaios6444 rubber hoses, not steel braided. its a cheap option, which should not be the case on a 23.5k superbike. Honda always do this - apart from their GoldWing.
@theonlyredspecial I have the motorcycle and it's rubber covered! Metal in the inside
With Nissin brakes it's rubber hose With Brembo it's metal hose!! Mine has metal hose covered with rubber!!
@@williamskalaios6444 I have had 3 fireblades myself, and yes they are rubber outside, im curious do you know the difference between braided steel brake lines and rubber brake lines? I am surprised you would think its a 'solid block of rubber' to classify as 'rubber brake lines'. Braided brake lines significantly reduce the issue of ballooning over time. Braided lines should give a noticeable improvement in braking force. But on a brand-new bike, the 'feel' of the brakes is far more dictated by the design of the calipers, the pad material and the ratio between the size of the master cylinder and the brake calipers' pistons. Yes Its hard to believe that Honda never see the need for braided steel brake lines. its the cheap option. Google it.
Thank you for the positive review. I'm curious, would this equipment be suitable for testing both my 25-watt and 45-watt base radios, or is it designed specifically for portable radios? Your clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is for handheld radios. I think the max power is 10w
wow
Dream 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for doing this. There needs to be a video like this for every radio, short and to the point, demonstrating actual capability.
I’ve owned mine for 12 years After seeing this I’m embarrassed……I didn’t realise I looked like this
Amazing colour
yes 🙂
These are excellent radios, my only complaint being the lack of adjustable squelch (why I don't use them for contest work). I own a couple, one programmed up for two metres, the other on 156MHz Marine Band. They are RIDICULOUSLY good value! GØOIW ☺♥☺♥
Yes I agree!
Hello Friend can i ask for advice I have these radios but I don't know how to execute them no instructions for setting up the programmer anywhere thank you for answer
@tomaskurka8405 Hi, I bought this radio pre-programmed with all the UK 2m repeaters and simplex frequencies. If you want to know more about this radio then please contact Thames Valley repeater group and they will point you at the right direction. Here is the link to their website: www.tvrg.org.uk/from%20CCC%20Oct2023/adv1.html
and it is possible that the radio they worked like baofeng I managed to do it on 144mhz baofeng can hear but km3000 no two do not go together i uploaded the fw too
Beautiful bike and color. If you don’t mind me asking, Are those custom painted oem? Or did you order from a fairing site?
This is a custom paint job by the BMW Motorrad dealer. The link is in the description.
I bought a security company business and it came with couple of these radios but they're pre programmed from previous, how can i factory reset it and program it for future events
You will need to find someone with the programming software to program your radios. If you are in the UK, you can try Radioswap.
If that is really 2 meters (as claimed in the Smiley link) then the length of that telescoping whip sure looks like my 2 meters 5/8ths, not 1/2!
Hi what range do you get with thus?
@@Ytb-nf7ef Depends on the elevation. You can easily talk to stations 40 miles away if you are on a hill. If you are on a flat ground 10 miles.
@@Ytb-nf7efI just installed the experimental firmware on a Quenshang UV-K5(8) so I now have a 5 watt 2 meter SSB compatible HT. I am going to get an adapter to use my 5/8 wave BNC telescoping antenna from up on top of the Santa Monica Mountains and test my simplex range.
Vem quando . Pro Brasil?
My new kawa ninj z r 10 2024
This antenna would work for gmrs ?
Sorry I don’t know GMRS. I live in the UK. In the video I was on 70mhz frequency (4 meter band). The antenna is a 1/4 wave on 70mhz.
